Registered Manager | Children’s Residential

Location: Doncaster, DN9

Salary: £54,080 – £64,280

Hours: Monday to Friday

Shifts: Monday to Friday, with additional weekend payments as required

Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have relevant experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join a brand-new 4-bed children’s residential home located in Doncaster, DN9, supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) within a mixed-gender service.

As this is a new home, the successful Registered Manager will have the opportunity to take the lead in preparing the service for opening and registration, building the staff team and establishing strong standards from the outset.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Doncaster and the surrounding areas.

As an experienced Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and development of the home, ensuring it is ready to provide safe, effective and person-centred care once registered and operational.

You will play a key role in establishing high standards of safeguarding, compliance and care, while supporting the service through the registration and opening process and developing a positive culture within the home.

Requirements:

  • A positive, caring, and compassionate approach to delivering high quality care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A motivated, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
  • Relevant qualifications for Registered Manager level within children’s residential care.
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
  • Experience working with children with EBD.
  • Experience working within a children’s residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and Ofsted requirements.
  • Experience or understanding of preparing a new children’s home for registration would be advantageous.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK without s p o n s o r s h i p .

Benefits:

  • £54,080 basic salary.
  • Up to £64,280 including additional earning opportunities.
  • £3,000 bonus for achieving an Outstanding Ofsted report.
  • £600 monthly additional payment.
  • £5,000 additional payment.
  • £25 per weekday.
  • £35 per weekend day.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.
