Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Location: Vale of Belvoir
Setting: 4-Bed Children’s Home (EBD)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (flexibility required)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first Registered Manager position. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care, and emotional support

Develop and oversee individualised care plans

Manage the home’s day-to-day operations, budget, and resources

Lead recruitment, supervision, and staff development

Build positive relationships with social workers, families, and external professionals

Ensure accurate record-keeping and inspection readiness

Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people
About You
-
Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)

Proven experience in a children’s residential setting

Confident leader with strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards

Organised, resilient, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people

Full UK driving licence (manual) required

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (flexibility required)

169 contracted hours per month

7–10 sleep-ins per month (average)

Deputy Managers work a 2 on / 4 off rolling rota
