Community Care Worker (Driver)

Location: Southampton & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £14.00–£14.25 per hour + 45p per mile mileage

Hours: Flexible shifts available

Shifts: Days, evenings and weekends

Shift Times: Various shifts available Monday to Sunday

Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have a minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience as a Community Care Worker, Home Care Worker or Support Worker.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Community Care Workers to support individuals living within their own homes across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Southampton, Totton, Hedge End, Bitterne, Woolston, Sholing, Thornhill, Weston, Netley, Hamble, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, Hythe, Marchwood and surrounding areas.

As an experienced Community Care Worker, you will provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care that enables individuals to remain independent within their own homes and local communities.

You will support people with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship and community access while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.

You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and professionalism whilst building positive relationships with the people you support and the services you work within.

Requirements

• A positive, caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Minimum 6 months’ UK care experience within community or home care.
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Access to your own reliable vehicle.
• Practical Manual Handling certificate (completed within the last 12 months).
• Medication Administration training (completed within the last 12 months).
• Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months or registered with the DBS Update Service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
