Support Worker
Hours: 5 days per week (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 and one late shift per week of 12:00 to 20:00. Part of an on-call rota with some out of hours work.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and two references.
The ideal candidate will have: The Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or working towards this qualification.
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
At least one year’s experience working in a care environment
Good people skills and computer literacy.
Responsibilities
· Administer medication.
· Providing emotional support for an individual.
· Ensure the environment is homely, clean and safe.
· Part of an on-call rota
· Ensure that people have access to primary healthcare and update care plans.
· Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all support needs meet the highest possible standards.
· Be tolerant, make every day count, have fun, have courage, always provide quality support and do all you can to help people achieve their goals.
