Setting: 4-Bed Children’s Home (EBD)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (flexibility required)

About the Role
We are seeking a committed and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first Registered Manager position. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care, and emotional support
- Develop and oversee individualised care plans
- Manage the home’s day-to-day operations, budget, and resources
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and staff development
- Build positive relationships with social workers, families, and external professionals
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and inspection readiness
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people
About You
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Proven experience in a children’s residential setting
- Confident leader with strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
- Organised, resilient, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
- Full UK driving licence (manual) required

Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (flexibility required)
- 169 contracted hours per month
- 7–10 sleep-ins per month (average)
- Deputy Managers work a 2 on / 4 off rolling rota
