Registered Manager | Children’s Residential

Location: Lancaster, LA2

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established 6-bed children’s residential home located in Lancaster, LA2, supporting children and young people with complex needs.

The home currently holds a Good Ofsted rating. This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of an established service, leading the team and maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Lancaster and the surrounding areas.

As an experienced Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service, supporting the staff team and ensuring children and young people receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safeguarding, compliance and care, while ensuring the home continues to meet regulatory requirements and provides a positive environment for the children and young people.

Requirements:

• A positive, caring and compassionate approach to delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Relevant qualifications for Registered Manager level within children’s residential care.
• Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience working within a children’s residential setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and Ofsted requirements.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without s p o n s o r s h i p .

Benefits:

• £3,000 bonus for achieving an Outstanding Ofsted report.
• £2,000 occupancy bonus for achieving 90% occupancy between 1 December and 30 November each year.
• 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.
• Competitive salary of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
