 Domiciliary Care & Support Workers (Female & Male) – Southampton Area

Competitive pay of £13.50–£14.50 per hour.

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas including Totton, Hedge End, Bitterne, Woolston, Sholing, Thornhill, Weston, Netley, Hamble, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Romsey, Hythe, Marchwood and surrounding communities.

Pay: Competitive rates of pay
Hours: Full-time, Part-time, Weekdays, Evenings and Weekends available
Driving Licence: Essential

SNG Healthcare is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Female and Male Domiciliary Care & Support Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals living within their own homes across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding role supporting people to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life while remaining in their own homes and local communities.

Duties may include:

  • Personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Medication prompting and administration (where trained)
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Community access and attending appointments
  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, dementia, mental health needs and physical disabilities
  • Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting concerns
  • Promoting independence whilst ensuring safety and wellbeing

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Health & Social Care
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Medication Administration Training
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
